Governors

The Board of Governors works with the school's Leadership Team to help determine the strategic direction of the school. Governors also play a key role in school accountability, reviewing the performance of pupils and setting objectives for future school development. The Board of Governors oversees how the school's funding is spent in order to meet those objectives.

The Board of Governors is currently made up of 14 governors: Parent, Co-opted, Local Authority and Staff Governors.

The Board of Governors has adopted a structure which involves it meeting as a full governing body twice a term, avoiding the need to delegate decision-making to separate committees.

Chair of Governors

The Chair of Governors resigned with effect from 31st December 2021. The Board of Governors are due to meet on 8th February 2022 to decide on the process for the election of the new chair person. In the meantime, the Vice-Chairs, Martin Davis and Sara Maslowski, have assumed responsibility for chairing the governing body.
