Welcome to Telford Junior School

Telford Junior School is a popular and successful junior school, educating children between the ages of 7 and 11. The pupils enjoy coming to school and achieve well, benefiting from a rich, broad and balanced curriculum.

The school has approximately 350 children on roll. Classes are arranged in year groups, with three parallel mixed ability classes in each year group.

The majority of our children transfer from Telford Infant School at the end of Key Stage 1. Close links exist between the two schools, ensuring continuity and progression for the children. Children do join from other primary schools, both at the start of Year 3 and at other ages. Our children are always very welcoming of new children joining the school and make a special effort to help them feel part of the school.
