Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations June 2022
A huge thank you to our children and families for helping to make our Jubilee celebrations a great success. The children practised their history skills in lessons by finding out about the Royal family tree; looking at primary and secondary sources of evidence for significant events during the Queen's reign; considering technological developments over the past 70 years; and creating posters of trends and fashions of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. All the year groups then showcased their hard work together with many objects on loan from those decades in our very own Telford Museum. The hall looked spectacular. The children visited the Museum on Friday morning and really enjoyed showing their families around the Museum in the afternoon.
