As part of the National Curriculum, all pupils learn to 'take part in outdoor and adventurous activity challenges both individually and within a team'. 

At Telford Junior School, we have several orienteering courses set up for us to use with school site maps. Staff have had training from the team at 'Cross Curricular Orienteering' (September 2021) to develop our skills and knowledge to extend our teaching. We are looking forward to working on this with the children.

During the Autumn Term, we have been using what we have learnt from our new training and work programme. here you can see some of the year 6 children. They are working on learning how to use a key, working as a team and lots of running and stamina work too.
